Size & Installation Guide

Choosing the right light fitting size is essential for creating a balanced look and achieving the best possible lighting. Use the guide below to help you select the ideal size for your space.

1. How to Calculate the Ideal Diameter

Simple Formula:

• Measure the length and width of your room (in metres).
• Add the two measurements together.
• Multiply the total by 8 to 10 to estimate the recommended light diameter in centimetres.

Example:

Room size: 4 m × 5 m

4 + 5 = 9

9 × 10 = 90 cm recommended diameter.

2. Light Fitting Height

For balanced proportions, allow approximately 6–8 cm of light fitting height for every metre of ceiling height.

Example:

Ceiling height: 2.5 m

Recommended light fitting height: 15–20 cm.

3. Installation Height (Pendant Lights)

Above a dining table or kitchen island:

Install the light 75–90 cm above the surface.

In open spaces:

The bottom of the light fitting should be at least 2.1 m above the floor.

4. Multiple Pendant Lights

If installing several pendant lights above a kitchen island or long dining table:

• Each pendant should be approximately one quarter of the length of the surface.
• Space them evenly to create a balanced and harmonious appearance.

5. Choosing According to Ceiling Height

Low Ceilings (up to 2.5 m)

Flush ceiling lights or semi-flush ceiling lights are the best choice.

Standard Ceilings (2.5–3 m)

Pendant lights and chandeliers proportioned to the room work perfectly.

High Ceilings (over 3 m)

Larger and taller light fittings create a striking visual impact and make the most of the available space.

3-Year Warranty

All of our products are covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and technical faults that occur under normal conditions of use. If an issue arises, our team will assess the situation and provide the most appropriate solution, whether that is a repair, replacement, or another suitable resolution.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Incorrect installation
• Improper use
• Unauthorised modifications
• Normal wear and tear

Care & Maintenance

To preserve the quality and finish of your product, we recommend:

• Cleaning with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoiding abrasive cleaning products or harsh chemicals.
• Following any product-specific care instructions provided.
• Periodically checking the product and its installation where appropriate.
