Sizing and Installation Guide

Choosing the right lamp size is essential for creating a harmonious interior and ensuring optimal lighting. Use the guide below to select the ideal dimensions for your space.

1. How to calculate the ideal diameter

Simple formula:

1. Measure the length and width of your room (in metres).
2. Add these two measurements together.
3. Multiply the total by 8 to 10 to get the recommended lamp diameter in centimetres.

Example:

• Room dimensions: 4 m x 5 m
• 4 + 5 = 9
• 9 x 10 = 90 cm

Recommended lamp diameter: 90 cm

2. Lamp height

For balanced proportions, allow roughly 6 to 8 cm of lamp height for every metre of ceiling height.

Example:

• Ceiling height: 2.5 m
• Recommended lamp height: 15 to 20 cm

3. Installation height (pendant lights)

Above a dining table or kitchen island

Install the lamp at a height of between 75 and 90 cm above the surface.

In open spaces

The bottom of the lamp should be at least 2.10 m from the floor to allow for comfortable movement.

4. Installing multiple pendant lights

If you're installing several pendant lights above a kitchen island or a large table:

• Each pendant light should account for roughly a quarter of the length of the surface being lit.
• Space them evenly for a harmonious, balanced look.

5. Choosing based on ceiling height

Low ceilings (up to 2.5 m)

Ceiling lights or semi-flush ceiling lights are the most suitable options.

Standard ceiling heights (2.5 to 3 m)

Pendant lights and chandeliers proportioned to the room offer an excellent aesthetic result.

High ceilings (over 3 m)

Larger, taller lamps create a striking visual impact and make the most of the available volume.

3-Year Warranty
